Going through a divorce is never easy, but this firm made the process feel manageable. They were incredibly empathetic to my situation while remaining objective and professional. I always felt like my voice was heard and my interests were protected.

Hired Attorney Leona Krasner Esq., MBA

I’m writing this review because I truly don’t want anyone else to go through what I did. Hiring an attorney during a family court crisis is painful and expensive, and you do it hoping someone will fight for you and protect your child. That is not what I experienced with Ms. Krasner and the Krasner firm. The opposing party was represented, yet Ms. Krasner appeared for only one or two court dates and, in my experience, did nothing meaningful to move my case forward or advocate for me. I felt completely unsupported, lied to and taken advantage of by this attorney. Billing was shocking. In a few months, I was charged more than prior attorneys billed over years, plus constant add-ons (stamps, tolls, travel, etc.). What hurt most was the careless paperwork—contracts and filings contained other people’s names and errors, despite being told they don’t “copy and paste.” Those mistakes are unacceptable in court. I felt financially exploited in a vulnerable time. I do not recommend this firm.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
