Prior to joining MCB, Erin served as a senior litigator at a New York defense firm, bringing with her a wealth of experience in civil litigation. Her tenure there was defined by the management of a diverse range of matters involving insurance coverage, labor law, general liability, premises liability, and motor vehicle claims, including cases of high-exposure risk.
Representing clients across all phases of pre-trial litigation, Erin is adept at managing complex discovery, depositions, and mediations, as well as navigating critical status and settlement conferences. In previous roles, she has gained experience drafting various motions, conducting legal research, and analyzing the applicability of insurance contracts for clients. Additionally, she has served as a mentor to junior associates, guiding their professional development in court appearances and reporting. Erin’s analytical skills and dedication have established her as a trusted advocate for her clients and legal colleagues alike.
Earlier in her career, Erin developed valuable skills through four legal internship positions, including serving as a summer intern at MCB in 2013. She also gained legal credits from her participation in the Family Violence Litigation Clinic and Immigration Project at the Albany Law Clinic & Justice Center. Erin earned her J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University in 2015, where she was a semi-finalist in both the 3L Senior Prize Trial Moot Court Competition and the Donna Jo Morse Client Counseling Competition.
