Diana M. Malave is an Associate Attorney in Hinman Howard & Kattell’s White Plains office and is a Member of the Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Malave received her B.B.A in 2012 from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University in Uniondale, New York, majoring in Legal Studies in Business. She received her J.D./M.B.A. from the University, Maurice A. Deane School of Law and Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University in 2016.
Prior to her admission to the Courts of the State of New York, Ms. Malave worked for the Honorable Leonard B. Austin, Associate Justice of the Appellate Division, Second Department as part of a Hofstra Law Post-Graduate Judicial Fellowship. She also interned for the Honorable Rachel A. Adams and the Honorable Marsha L. Steinhardt during law school.
While attending law school Ms. Malave participated in the Disaster Recovery Clinic where she assisted individuals impacted by Superstorm Sandy review contracts and settle disputes with insurance companies and contractors, as well as assist with applications for public benefits and appeal adverse benefit decisions. Ms. Malave also interned at the Safe Center LI, where she assisted victims of domestic abuse with matrimonial and family law matters.
