I’m writing this as someone who received a copy of a living trust prepared by Vanmai Nguyen. Unfortunately, the document was poorly written, which wasn’t surprising given that estate planning is not her area of expertise. What’s even more concerning is that during our conversation, Vanmai placed me on speakerphone with another person present on her end without my consent. While not illegal, this behavior felt highly unprofessional and raises questions about her conduct as an attorney. To add to this, she also viewed my social media content, which had no relevance to the living trust. This behavior felt invasive and suspicious. I’m sharing my experience to warn others, as this level of unprofessionalism is concerning.
