Transitioning from public defense, she delved into the realm of appellate law, becoming an esteemed member of the panels for the Second, Third, and Fifth District Court of Appeal, as well as the California Supreme Court. Her legal acumen is evident through the publication of her Court of Appeal cases and her recent accomplishment of overturning a murder conviction via a successful habeas petition.
