Kevin R. Anderson is the resident partner of Anderson & Welch, LLC, in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he focuses exclusively on criminal litigation and police liability. A lifelong advocate for fair treatment under the law, he earned his B.S. in Criminology and Criminalistics, with honors, from Florida State University, and his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. Mr. Anderson sharpened his trial skills at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office and the Palm Beach County Public Defender’s Office before founding his private practice. Recognizing the devastating impact of governmental overreach and civil-rights abuses, he incorporated police-liability work into his portfolio, handling cases of excessive force, false arrest, malicious prosecution, invasions of privacy, and related misconduct.
