Born in New York City, Mr. Lampert moved with his family to Miami Beach in 1966 and has lived in South Florida since. He graduated from Florida State University in 1975 with his Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Government and from the University of Florida College of Law in 1978 with his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Mr. Lampert passed the Florida Bar Exam in 1978 and was admitted to The Florida Bar that same year.
He is also admitted to practice in all Florida state trial and appellate courts, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Mr. Lampert has extensive experience in Creditor-Debtor relations, Bankruptcy, Landlord-Tenant matters, Divorce, and Mortgage Foreclosure matters. He has made a presentation regarding the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act to the Commercial Law League of America, and in addition, presented seminars through the auspices of The National Business Institute and Lorman Education Services regarding the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, enforcement and collection of judgments, commercial and retail collections, and medical bill collection issues. Mr. Lampert’s practice has a recent focus on Bankruptcy, Landlord-Tenant, Collections and Garnishment matters.
