Jared A. Levy is a partner in the firm’s Business Trial Group and chairs the Investment Recovery Group at Morgan & Morgan.
Jared has 20 years of litigation experience and is a versatile trial lawyer. He represents investors who were victims of misconduct by brokerage firms, investment advisors, and banks. He also represents clients in high-value business disputes involving deceptive trade practices, legal malpractice, breaches of contract and fiduciary duties, usury, and corporate divorces.
Jared has helped clients recover tens of millions of dollars and has won multiple trial verdicts of over $1 million. He represents all clients on a contingency basis.
Jared approaches every case with the mindset of getting the case to trial as quickly as possible and battling aggressively to maximize the case’s value. He fights corporate malfeasance by leveraging the resources of Morgan & Morgan - the nation’s largest contingency law firm with 1,000 attorneys and dozens of offices. Jared regularly practices in state and federal courts, and handles investor arbitrations across the nation.
Florida Trend Magazine has recognized Jared as one of Florida’s “Legal Elite” - an award that less than 1.5% of Florida Bar members have received. He has served on the Florida Bar’s Consumer Protection Committee for multiple years. He also belongs to the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association, a national group that fights for investors against the country’s largest financial institutions.
Before joining Morgan & Morgan, Jared was a partner at a boutique litigation firm, where he represented clients on a contingency basis for over 10 years. Before that, he worked for White & Case LLC, one of the world’s largest law firms. He began his legal career by clerking for a federal district court judge in Charleston, South Carolina.
Jared attended college at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he graduated with distinction in 1995. He attended law school at Boston University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 1998. While in law school, Jared served on the Law Review and published his note.
