She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law, where she was a member of Akron’s trial and moot court teams. She competed at the National Civil Trial Competition in Los Angeles, CA, and was a member of the Tournament Champion Team at the Gourley Mock Trial Competition, in Pittsburgh, PA, where she earned a Top Advocate award. Ms. Hurley also participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, winning First Place Oralist at regional competition.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hurley practiced at a litigation defense firm in Cleveland, OH, where she focused her practice in the area of asbestos and products liability.
