Dave and his Law Group is very top-knotched. They have an automation system which directs you from the receptionist and directly to our attorney, Dave Singh. We had our Trust done and the group was so professional guiding us at each level to complete the task. Despite the COVID situation, Dave gave us all the time we needed to consult while drafting the Trust via Zoom meetings. He explained the lengthy document very thoroughly, pointed out relevant parts, and was patience by addressing any questions or concerns we may have. We really appreciated that. If there was an option to rate Dave Singh from Succession Legal lower than one star, it would be more than justified based on my utterly disappointing experience. From the outset, Dave and his firm's handling of our probate case have been fraught with miscommunication, broken promises, and a sheer lack of professionalism that has exacerbated an already difficult process. Initially, we were misled about the estate valuation process. Despite having an appraisal valuing the property at $900k, following my father's death during a home remodel, the estate was inexplicably valued over $1.45m, a figure that bafflingly ignores the condition of the property at the time of death. Dave's explanation of valuation based on equity rather than appraisal led to a profound misunderstanding and substantial financial repercussions. Dealing with Dave Singh from Succession Legal has been a profound disappointment. Misled from the start, our estate was inaccurately valued over $1.45m due to advice that ignored a prior $900k appraisal amidst a remodel. Dave's explanation about valuation based on equity, not appraisal, was never clarified, leading to unnecessary financial strain. His advice that the probate process duration wouldn't affect property valuation was misleading, costing us over $20k more than anticipated. This shock was worsened when an invoice was sent to our escrow officer without consultation, prompting us to reconsider our engagement with his firm. Critical information, like access to the probate referee, was withheld until after key decisions were made, hindering informed choices. A surprise $3700 county assessor bill, which could have been reduced with timely communication, and Dave's insistence on premature payment for unfinished work, highlighted a lack of transparency and professionalism.
