Tobi Schneider is a past president of the Greater Waterville Area YMCA and past second vice president of the Maine Youth Alliance, (a collaboration of the YMCA and Boys/Girls Club to build the 9 million dollar Harold and Bibby Alfond Youth Recreation Facility, serving the youth and families of the Greater Waterville Area). She is also a past president of the Waterville Contemporary Club, a branch of the Waterville Women's Club; a member of the American Association of the University Women; and Hadassah. She was awarded the Waterville Area YMCA Red Triangle Award in 1997, admitted to the Inspirational Hall of Fame at the Boys and Girls Club and YMCA at the Alfond Youth Center in May of 2004, and named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Foundation in 2006. Tobi Schneider currently resides in Waterville.
