Our Community
Our Firm has a long and proud history in the greater Waterbury community. Kellogg and Terry, the earliest predecessor to Secor Cassidy P.C., established a law practice in Waterbury, Connecticut, in 1865. Although there have been variations in the Firm’s moniker throughout the years, Secor Cassidy P.C. took on its current name in 1975.
Today, our main office sits in the heart of downtown Waterbury. The building, once owned by the prominent Chase family, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The brass nameplate that hangs at the front door of our Waterbury office serves as a reminder of the storied history of the Brass City.
Our Southbury law office is located in the heart of Heritage Village in the Heritage Landmark Building. Our first-floor office is easily accessible, with ample free and convenient parking. In addition to office appointments, we offer meetings in our client’s home or remotely via telephone or video conference. Our office is staffed by resident attorneys dedicated to serving the needs of Southbury, Woodbury, Roxbury, Middlebury, Oxford, Brookfield, Newtown and the surrounding communities. Our Southbury and Waterbury offices work collaboratively to offer all of the skills and experience of our combined legal team at the office of our client’s choosing.
