Hired Attorney Joel Cohen

I would hope future home sellers who use Flanzbaum & Cohen, LLC, will know to insist upon more forthright communication, especially about total fees.. We closed on our NJ home in August 2017. It was only a day or two before closing when we were showed the settlement statement, revealing a surprise $800+ addition in fees without adequate advance warning/explanation. Also, untrue statements were told to me. Better transparency and organization would be a more ethical path for this firm to follow.

I am sad the person felt the need to write this review. Our fees are disclosed in advance in our Engagement Letter. The only time additional fees are charged is when unanticipated and extraordinary additional services are required based upon the case.
