RMO LLP was established in 2015 by Scott E. Rahn, a probate litigator committed to helping individuals navigate trust and estate disputes. Raised in a rural community in northeast Wisconsin, Scott learned the importance of hard work and service on his grandparents’ dairy farm. His father’s work as a mechanic, often helping those who couldn’t pay, further instilled in Scott a commitment to serving others.
After developing his legal skills at a major law firm’s trust and estates department in Los Angeles, Scott founded RMO LLP with a focus on probate litigation. His goal was to create a firm that offered both legal proficiency and a personalized approach to each case. In 2016, Scott was joined by Sean D. Muntz, a fellow litigator and longtime friend. Their shared values and vision for the firm led to its rebranding as RMO.
Since its founding, RMO has grown from a single Los Angeles office to eight offices across California and Texas. The firm’s expansion is a testament to its dedication to providing compassionate and effective legal representation during challenging times.
