Case Result
Altman v. Safeway Stores, Inc. Successfully represented the appellant before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals in a significant premises liability matter. The court reversed a directed verdict in favor of the defendant, ruling that evidence of a "dirty" substance with footprints was sufficient to establish constructive notice. This victory ensured the plaintiff’s right to a jury trial and remains a frequently cited case regarding a retailer’s duty to maintain safe premises.
