About Jessica Agius

Jessica joined the firm in November 2023 as an associate mainly focused on corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and financial services.

She has gained regulatory experience working with Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) in the ambit of the supervision of Company Service Providers (CSPs) and Trustees. During her tenure she was also involved in the implementation of the CSP regime, in light of the coming into force of Act L of 2020, particularly, drafting of FAQs issued to the public, drafting of the application utilised, provision of training and subsequently processing and authorisation of applicants.

Jessica graduated from the University of Malta with a Doctor of Laws in 2016. She is also in possession of a Foundation Certificate in Trusts Law and Management from The Institute of Financial Services Practitioners, as well as a Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
