Hired Law Firm

Robert Gorence took my case on a contingency basis in early January. This case involved two clients, one employee and myself the business owner. In order for him to take the case he demanded I refund my two clients for the purchase of my services in full that they had paid. $17,000 So I did so. Signed contracts with Gorence. The other three people also signed contracts. This only took place after I refunded my customers. This in itself is pretty much illegal and I didn't know it at the time. It's basically a conflict of interest and is unethical practice for an attorney. This guy hasn't heard the last of me yet. . He did file a tort claim against the State of NM so I have time to find another attorney with integrity. Robert Gorence is the most arrogant human being that I have ever dealt with in my lifetime. Yesterday he called me and told me to find another attorney, that we don't have a case all of a sudden. Beware of this scumbag! Good thing I recorded our conversation.
