Milissa and her entire staff were helpful and available throughout my divorce. She was excellent in the courtroom and thought of everything. She is a wonderful person to have on your side!

Ms. Barrick was constantly too busy to handle my case herself. I was forced to go through her very unprofessional and unknowledgeable paralegal. Ms. Barrick never returned any of my phone calls. Her answers to my emails were intermittent at best. She acted very lackadaisical regarding my case which is completely unacceptable especially considering the amount of the deposit required for her fees.

I used this law office because I thought she would handle my divorce case with precision and represent me well. That was not the case! Unfortunately, when she came in for my mediation she appeared to be under the influence of something she came in with a mink coat on. Her secretary came with her and had this look on her face as if she was concerned. I knew then, how it would go. Through my mediation she sat there and didn't say a word. After, it was almost over she didn't say a word and just stated you want to take it to court? Hindsight 20/20, I felt the law office played off my emotions and saw it as a opportunity to get money, Lesson Learned, wished her well!

Felt that she was not prepared, did nothing to defend false accusations presented against her client, has still not completed all necessary paperwork showing that almost $9500 in child support has been paid but not recorded even after the court recognized that $9500 had already been paid. Has not made restitution to her client for calling in sick on the day of the court hearing. Her client comes from out of town and her "sick day" costs us not only the $500 in gas and tolls but the aggravation.

Miss Barrick is rarely available and does not fill you in on important information in a timely manner about your case. A great example would be when she received a letter from my ex-wife's attorney on the 6th day of the month that I needed to pay back child support before the first on the next month but she did not tell me this till the 26th day, 20 days after she was notified. She dose not provide personnel detail at all and will gladly take money then not perform her duties.

Milissa not the she leave town without finishing my case and tried to charge me an extra 1000.00. Her office faxed me the wrong information. I got information and ss# for a different client. not prepared. WOW

I retained Mrs. Barrick after being notified by CPS that my children were abandoned by their mother, MRs. Barrick consistently failed to communicate with me as her client. She missed a court hearing causing custody to be given back to the childrens mother. She charges for EVERYTHING. I spent 36,000 dollars with nothing to show for it. She takes advantage of military members, as I recently found out she did the same thing to a military co-worker of mine. She is inept, and not proffessional at all

Milissa and her entire office staff is rude. Phone calls were not returned, I was over-charged for her services, and she dropped my case after I paid her a very handsome retainer. She is unprofessional and unreliable. She clearly takes on too many cases and is unable to provide quality service or legal representation.
