I became a client of Campbell Law Firm in March 2023 when I sought assistance for an estate matter. Being from California, I trusted the attorney with my matter in Texas. Needless to say this firm left me hanging in the middle of a complicated estate situation and did not have my best interest at hand when it came to advocating on my behalf. On 1/30/25, I was charged an additional retainer fee of $3,500. I did not agree to this since I already paid a $2,500 retainer on 3/9/23. This firm dropped me as a client rather than trying to resolve this matter. After 22 months, I am still in the same situation with the same problem and nothing to show for the $10,000 I paid to this firm and co-counsel Prather.

I recently asked this firm to dismiss my Chapter 13. They charge me $500 and now its a month and nothing has been done. They are terrible at communicating.

I believe he is honest. He refunded all my money; but I "fell through the cracks" and was ignored. When I followed up with his support person, she was terse and failed to follow-up with me.
