When I moved to Chicago in 2017 from South Florida I had the pleasure of working for Mr. Jeffrey for several months until he decided it was time for him to venture out and start his own practice. In that short period of time, he had already become not just my boss but a great friend. Everyone at our firm was excited for him as we knew he was going to be a fantastic sole practitioner. Mr. Jeffrey is extremely intelligent, professional, knowledgeable, likeable, trustworthy and just an amazing attorney and all around great guy. So several years later when I had a terrible slip and fall accident, knowing many Plaintiff attorneys in Chicago, I immediately called him. He handled my case from the onset and we recently settled it. Slip and fall cases are extremely hard cases, as proving negligence is very difficult. We were able to settle my case before trial at mediation and I could not have asked for a better outcome. I honestly highly recommend Mr. Jeffrey and I cannot praise him enough.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
