Hired Law Firm
Mr. Harwin and his team did an outstanding job providing advice, recommendations and action supporting our particular circumstances. This was a long process as we live in another state and had to deal with multiple organizations in both states and the COVID situation. Throughout this process Mr. Harwin and his "right hand woman", Lety Figueroa, were superb! They were patient, understanding and kind. We felt they worked the problems and issues that arose as if it were their family member with the issue. I do not write many reviews but in this case the knowledge, professionalism and compassion exhibited by this team warrants a review. I would highly, highly recommend them!
Michael Harwin defended me in a case where I was facing down a potentially career-ending charge. All all stages of the process, from initial consultation to assisting me with having the final outcome set aside by a judge, Michael was outstanding and confidence-inspiring. He always made himself available for questions and updates. Set realistic expectations for procedures and outcome. Most importantly, he was able to get the initial charge reduced down to a reasonable outcome that allowed me to c
Last summer my wife was charged with a DUI, while she was attending UofA and because of her immigration status we needed a lawyer that was experienced in both matters. We are really glad we picked Michael Harwin, because this one mistake could get my wife deported. Micheal was able to get all the charges dropped and we couldn't be happier.
Would highly recommend Michael Harwin to review and solve your case. He did an awesome job with our daughter's case. He got most if not all the charges dropped/lowered.
I was stopped for a DUI and felt that my life had ended. I had actually pulled over and went to sleep because I was feeling unable to drive, but the officers didn't take that into consideration at all. I was so confused as what to do next. I went online and started doing some investigation. What I found out scared me. This situation could've cost me a lot of money and possibly my job. I read a lot of reviews on lawyers and decided to make some appointments. I went to see Michael Harwin and then cancelled all the other appointments. He was very easy to talk to and he was honest and upfront about the situation. He told me the best way to proceed then kept me informed along the way. Whenever I had questions or concerns, I would e-mail or call him and receive prompt, honest answers from either himself or his assistant. About a month into the case, I received a letter saying the case was dismissed and called him. He explained that the case could still be re-opened. I appreciated the honesty. I received a call from him the other day (4 months later) to give me info. about MVD and he told me my case was dismissed for good. It can't haunt me anymore! I was so relieved and I felt that I could breathe again! I am so glad that I hired Michael. I was concerned at first about spending the money on a top-notch lawyer, but his rates were not that bad especially when you consider the money he saved me. And he gave me back my life!
First I have to say, I have never had a run in with the "the law" and I am naieve to all things legal. So when I let my dog off his leash and got a ticket from an overzealous dog cop, I was devastaed. Especially to learn this was a misdemenor felony. I contacted Mr Harwin and initially spoke to his assistant Letty. Letty is an angel. Letty walked me through the whole process and was so kind and responsive to every email or phone call I made. I was actually suprised at how responsive she was and how much meeting her in the front end, really put my mind at ease. Then came time for me to meet with Mr Harwin. As I mentioned, I am not accustomed to lawyers, all I know are the stories I have heard, so I was trepedatious as I made my way to our appointment. As soon as I walked in however, my fears diappeared. Mr Harwin was engaging, honest, to the point, compassionate and above all else, really cared about my case. Even though I imagine that for him, this case was "small potatos", he understood that it was a big deal to me, and he really showed up for me everty step of the way. I am very grateful to Mr Harwin, Letty and my family member who referred me. I would recommend Mr Harwin to anyone looking for an attorny who is different than all the stories we hear about lawyers. Someone who cares, hes fair and he does his job and does it well. Thank you Mr Harwin and Letty, I really appreciate you both from the bottom of my heart
Mr.Harwin was excellent. He was very professional as well as understanding. I was charged with DUI although i was not drinking. However none the less the state was asking for jail time, fines, and revoke my drivers license etc. After doing some research and I came across Mr. Harwin. Gave him a call we talked about my case. Mr.Harwin was very understanding about my situation. Throughout the process Mr.Harwin kept excellent communication. We didn't even go to trial he got me a plea I accepted.
I received an extreme DUI July 2012 in Tucson, Az. With the assistance of a friend, found Mr. Michael Harwin. His credentials, reputation and track record is why I chose to hire Mr. Harwin for my case. Mr. Harwin and his staff care about their clients. They continuously kept me informed on any changes in my case, which is extremely reassuring especially when you find yourself in a predicament such as a DUI. It took a little over 10 months to find out the results of my case

Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings™ display reviews submitted by individuals who have either hired or consulted the lawyers or law firms.
The Client Review Rating score is determined through the aggregation of validated responses. People who submit reviews are either individuals who consulted with the lawyer/law firm or who hired the lawyer/law firm and want to share their experience of that lawyer or law firm with other potential clients. Reviewers can be anyone who consults or hires a lawyer including in-house counsel, corporate executives, small business owners, and private individuals.
Martindale-Hubbell validates that a reviewer is a person with a valid email address. As part of the review process, respondents must affirm that they have had an initial consultation, are currently a client or have been a client of the lawyer or law firm identified, although Martindale-Hubbell cannot confirm the lawyer/client relationship as it is often confidential. The content of the responses is entirely from reviewers.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome and Martindale-Hubbell accepts no responsibility for the content or accuracy of any review. For more information on Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Ratings, please visit our Client Review Page
Martindale Peer Reviews
Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ are the gold standard in attorney ratings, and have been for more than a century. These ratings indicate attorneys who are widely respected by their peers for their ethical standards and legal expertise in a specific area of practice.
The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.
What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
• Notable: This rating indicates that the lawyer has been recognized by a large number of their peers for strong ethical standards.
Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
Attorneys that receive reviews from their peers, but not a sufficient number to establish a Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, will have those reviews display on our websites.
Ratings and reviews are feedback from people who have either consulted an attorney about an issue (but may not have hired the attorney) or people who hired an attorney as a current or former client and provided their feedback to our sister site, Avvo.com.
