Hired Attorney Mr. John Gilmore Jr

Mr Gilmore didn't do his job. He showed up to court with bare minimum. Messed up names. Didn't read my emails. Had 4 witnesses who he said were great and then refused to use them. He made me gather evidence but couldn't bother to go through it to use it. He spent no time preparing for court. Never fought for me even though I paid him more than agreed and offered more. Even after proving my innocence but because he didn't turn in evidence that I gave him to turn the judge blamed me. Took him too long to go over the evidence that proved my innocence. He was not worth what I paid and could have won my case myself and should have fired him. I have no law degree and won another case by myself and lost this one because he was too lazy to go over evidence and be prepared in court.

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

Lawyers who have received peer reviews after 2009 will display more detailed information, including practice areas, summary ratings, detailed numeric ratings and written feedback (if available). Details for individual reviews received before 2009 are not displayed.
