My son crossed the street using the crosswalk, on a "walk" signal when a driver struck him with a Porsche. My son rolled over the hood of the car, the driver honked his horn before leaving the scene of the accident only to return a short while later. The impact popped my son's front bike tire as well as bent the rim. An ambulance ride to the hospital and several tests later resulted in thousands of dollars in medical bills. This guy hits my son and we are paying the bills? I was furious! Where was the consequence for this guy that hit my kid on a crosswalk in front of the school? Pay attention - James Brookshire is a guy you want to invite to Thanksgiving as well as the guy you want in the courtroom when someone thinks they can take advantage of you. Thank you for helping us get a settlement that will assist in securing our son's future as well as restoring our faith in the legal system.
Due to the allegations I was nervous. I struggled to get police reports, and pertinent information needed. Meeting with Jack, he obtained & reviewed all of the info needed prior to the appt. He understood the case, outlined the law & found the facts. He explained the outcomes. Allegations were dismissed immediately as a result of Jacks ability to litigate in the court room. I would definitely use Jack again. I was very impressed w/ his organization, experience, and ability.
I do not recommend this law firm, specifically Mike Scarpelli. He told me what I wanted to hear until I paid him the $3500 retainer. I lost custody of my boys to a mother charged with domestic violence against my five year old. Mike is a spineless coward that gave in to the opposing attorney on everything discussed. I wouldn't let this firm represent my dog in court. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere unless you like throwing your money in the trash.
