Megan Ploetz is an attorney within the firm’s Municipal Practice Group. Ms. Ploetz concentrates her practice in the areas of municipal law and labor and employment, representing public entities in matters involving labor relations, employment compliance, prosecution, and municipal governance.
Ms. Ploetz graduated with honors from Michigan State University in 2021, earning dual degrees. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School in 2025. During law school, she was an active member of Moot Court and served as a Senior Editor for the Journal of Law in Society.
Prior to joining GMH, Ms. Ploetz gained valuable experience as a judicial extern at the 16th Circuit Court for the Honorable Judge Michael Servitto.
Ms. Ploetz is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. Since her admission, Ms. Ploetz has demonstrated a thorough commitment to providing thoughtful, solution-driven representation that aligns with her clients’ goals and promotes long-term success.
