One of the nicest attorneys i have ever met. Every time i called and he was not in his office, i got a call back within hours. If i sent an email, there was an immediate response
James Hinds Jr. is nothing more than a bully. Hit pried him for a breach of contract and he continually tried to get me to file for bankruptcy. He filed incorrect discovery then dropped my case because I brought it to his attention. Pads all his bills and only removes items and changes if you caught them. Does not provide itemized billing. He usually responds to emails but never follows up after that. He is a bully on a power trip. Will all the attorneys in L.A. I would not recommend Mr. Hinds.
James Hinds has put me in collections attempting to collect an amount of money ($221,829.00) I do not owe. {para}I never hired him for any services, nor has he sent me a bill for his alleged services. I attempted to contact him to resolve this issue but he hasn't replied. {para}**I DID NOT AUTHORIZE/RECEIVE ANY SERVICES FROM JAMES HINDS BUT I HAD TO ANSWER #2 IN ORDER TO POST THIS REVIEW**
Untrustworthy. Padded billing. Bad and misleading advice. Has law clerks working his cases but bills at his rate.
Typical lawyer, only interested in fattening his own pocket. Didn't do much for my particular case except run up a bill for thousands of dollars only to turn around and drop me as a client. I have since then spoken to dozens of his former clients, classmates, and business associates only to learn that James Hinds is sub par at what he does, and definitely doesn't care about his clients. Has a three person law firm that is located in Hawthorne. Don't let him fool you, find another attorney.
