I have been practicing family law in the South Bay for over 20 years and have a vast amount of experience in litigation, negotiations, counseling and mediation.  There are many approaches that can be pursued in family law cases and the manner in which a client and his/her lawyer decide to litigate the case is critical to the outcome.  I take the time to provide my clients with all of the information they need to make informed decisions in all aspects of their case, including setting goals and formulating a strategy to achieve the best results.

Hired Attorney

Bruce Mandel was completely unprepared and unresponsive. He ignored emails, failed to provide legal guidance, mishandled confidential information, and tried to pressure me into a terrible settlement instead of advocating for me. I paid thousands for representation but had to do the work myself and ended up in a worse position than when I hired him. Avoid him at all costs.

If I could give negative stars of Bruce A. Mandel, I would! This was the WORST experience I've ever had with an attorney, by far! Issues include: - A crucial missed deadline, even though I supplied all necessary info 2 days in advance. - 2 more almost-missed deadlines. - Several unanswered emails, miscommunication and lack of communication. - Bad advice from Bruce that almost cost me 50/50 custody of my son. - Bruce was absent during most of our court hearing because booked 2 cases at the same time, even though he told me his calendar was clear on my scheduled court date. - Complete failure to generate a 50/50 Custody Order for more than 4 months after a judge ordered him to write up that order, and I reminded him multiple times! - Bruce illegally withdrew from the case while the case was still ongoing, resulting in extremely damaging client abandonment less than 24 hours before a scheduled call with opposing counsel. My advice is to avoid Bruce A. Mandel, hire anyone else!
