Robert Storey is a partner with Bereskin & Parr LLP and head of the firm's Montréal office.
Robert's practice focuses on all aspects to do with the protection and enforcement of patents, trademarks, and industrial designs. Robert's clients include international leaders in fields as diverse as engineering design, computer software, fashion, investment brokerage, accounting, and retail. Robert has technical experience in mining and steel making.
Robert is currently the President of the Membership Commission of the Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Propriété Intellectuelle (FICPI). He is also a Member of Council and immediate Past President of FICPI Canada, and is a former Chair of the Industrial Design Committee of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC).
In his spare time, Robert enjoys playing golf, kayaking on Lac St-Louis, and playing guitar.
Robert is fluent in English and French.

Baylor University v. Hudson's Bay Co.
Acted for Baylor University in proceedings to overcome an opposition by the Hudson's Bay Co. to the registration of BAYLOR as a trademark for collegiate merchandise. The opposing board and trial judge both ruled in favour of Hudson's Bay Co., but the Federal Court of Appeal overturned the trial judge and allowed the registration.
