Before law school, Joel worked in Ontario's gambling industry for several years, conducting problem gambling research for a non-profit group, and fulfilling policy and regulatory compliance roles with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. Joel graduated from McGill University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. Outside of work, Joel enjoys travelling, playing baseball and golf, and classic films.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database.
