Alon Barda joined Preszler Injury Lawyers in July 2023. Alon was called to the Ontario Bar in 2012 and was previously a Partner at a highly regarded downtown insurance defence firm where he practiced for over ten years. Alon now brings these skills to Preszler Injury Lawyers where he will advocate exclusively on behalf of injured parties and apply the invaluable experience that he gained while working for insurance companies for over a decade.
Alon brings a truly unique insight into how insurance companies operate in all aspects of file handling, including the thought process of insurance companies when settling claims. Alon has expertise in statutory accident benefits claims and has handled numerous catastrophic claims.
Additionally, Alon has a reputation for being a fearless advocate for his clients, including appearances at all levels of court in Ontario. Alon has appeared countless times before the Licence Appeal Tribunal and also argued cases before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal. Most notably, Alon was lead counsel for a successful defendant in a 26-week complex personal injury trial that has been described as the longest personal injury action to take place in the Province.
Alon is also a widely published author with his articles and legal commentary being published in various legal publications.
When not in the office, Alon can be found at home either hiding from, or chasing after, his five children.
