Ms. Selis is an accomplished attorney with a strong background in litigation and litigation management. Prior to joining the firm, she focused her practice in the area of insurance defense litigation. She has handled insurance matters covering a wide range of topics, including general commercial liability issues, personal injury defense, negligence and other tort claims, subrogation defense, recoveries and fire and casualty defense. Her clients have come to rely on her impeccable legal advice and commitment to great results to navigate litigation matters in a cost-effective manner.
Since joining the firm, Ms. Selis is focusing her practice in the area of medical malpractice defense, nursing home negligence defense, insurance litigation and insurance coverage. Ms. Selis is an experienced litigator with a reputation for courtroom success.
Ms. Selis received a B.A. from Bowling Green State University. Additionally, she earned a Juris Doctorate from The University of Toledo College of Law. Ms. Selis is licensed to practice in Ohio, as well as the Supreme Court of Ohio, the Supreme Court of Colorado, and the U.S. District Court-Northern District of Ohio. Ms. Selis is an active member of the Toledo Bar Association and is a member of their Common Pleas Court committee.
