This attorney boast about how successful they are with regards to obtaining a large settlement. My biggest problem is that they did get me an award after a dog big. Their fees are very high. The work product was lacking. They failed to submit discovery to the Defendant and recklessly relied on my videos and statements. They settled my case and primarily benefited financially more than the injured party. If they request more than 33% or 1/3 like they did for me, you should look elsewhere. They also failed to properly communicate throughout. Had to file an official complaint
Sure, lawyer Geisser and her firm brag of big settlements or judgments. What they don’t tell you is how w/ such awards the client ended up with pitifully little or nothing (zero). Ask why after her co-counsel won a case for $65,000 and then left the firm, she took over only to screw up (the judgment vacated/dismissed because of her deficient filing). She will tell you attorney-client privilege makes it none of your business, which is complete B.S. – such particulars of trials and court proceedings are all part of the public record. Or ask her about all those other cases where the client ended up worse than with nothing to show for hiring them, but saddled with unpaid medical bills as well. Lawyers at GilmanBedigian may not be the only ones doing this “Percentage-of-the-Gross Contingency Fee Scam”, but ABA’s Commission on Ethics & Prof’l Responsibility considers it highly unethical (Formal Op. 93-379). How stupid to hire a firm that advertises on TV to find gullible clients!
