About Ms. Rebekah Maddox Ditto

Rebekah Maddox Ditto is an Associate in the Tifton office whose practice focuses on government liability, general liability, business development, and planning. She is known for her strategic, solutions-focused mindset and her ability to bring direction to even the most complex legal or operational challenges.

Rebekah has successfully argued before both the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals. She advises numerous South Georgia counties on matters involving open government, employment and personnel issues, contracts, ordinances, and statutory compliance. Her prior experience as Acting District Attorney and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney gives her a deep, practical understanding of governmental operations and high-stakes decision-making.

Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Rebekah held several leadership roles within the Alapaha Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, including Acting District Attorney, Chief Assistant District Attorney, and Assistant District Attorney. She also served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia and served as a law clerk for the Alapaha Judicial Circuit.

Rebekah earned her J.D. from Vermont Law School and her B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Georgia. She remains active in her community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Family Connection/Communities in Schools of Berrien County, as chair of the Carrie Dorsey Perry Memorial Library, and as vice chair of the Coastal Plain Regional Library System.

Rebekah is a problem-solver, steady advocate, and trusted partner for clients navigating the complex world of governmental and general liability matters. Her mix of courtroom experience, practical insight, and community-focused leadership make her a valuable member of our team.

Experience

Rebekeh has extensive experience in government liability and general liability matters and previously served in increasingly senior roles for the Alapaha Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office. She has argued successfully before the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Rebekah represents government and municipal clients in a wide range of liability lawsuits and other complex litigation. She has extensive experience serving in the District Attorney’s Office for the Alapaha Judicial Circuit and held increasingly senior leadership roles in that capacity.
