i was recommended to her by the women's center because i could not afford a lawyer and she told me she would take my case pro bono but half way thru the case she started billing me stating the she could only do part pro bono.
She is a liar and does back room deals with unethical judges , no shortage of those in Montgomery county , she only cares about money , certainly not children if they are involved in a divorce . Pure legal dcum
She should never be hired as a divorce lawyer for a female! Not only did she lose my case but she made friends with my ex husband so she could receive free Plastic Surgery during the divorce! My divorce papers were not even signed by her. My ex’s attorney was gracious enough to send me the final divorce decree. Needless to say, I did not pay her final payment!
Public reprimand issued on 9/17/19 by the State Bar of Texas for frequently failing to complete obligations owed to client. She failed to keep her client informed on the status of the case and frequently failed to comply with requests for information. She failed to REFUND advance payments of fees not earned.
Mary is very unprofessional and so is her practice. She took $10,000 cash from me and only filed for an order of divorce and unfiled 2 weeks later after me and my husband decided to reconcile. Her assistant said they would refund the balance minus filing and un-filing. After a year of asking in writing and talking to accounting, I have yet to receive money or even a response. I will never use her or refer anyone to her. Read other reviews. She is an awful attorney!!!
