Judge Paul Houston Lavalle

Made me feel at ease in a stressful situation. Felt like he was truly concerned for my well being.

Paul Houston LaValle used his legal license, background as a Judge and Police Officer to steal $150,000 from me. I'm 67, disabled, single and on a fixed income. He saw a target, and like the predator he is, ste from my life savings. I'm still praying to get Justice. He wrote me hot checks, lied about his legal status as an attorney under investigation and defrauded me out of many thousands of dollars. Intentionally.

This guy is an absolute crook that steals your money! Tons of promises, never followed through with anything. I had to call him to tell him the case had been dropped because he had no clue and swore Galveston County never bothered to notify him. He promised to refile, never bothered himself to do so. I filed a grievance and he promptly lied through his teeth to avoid refunding my $15k. If you talk to this guy, record everything because he will lie about all of it! He'll take advantage of anyone.

My husband drives a panel van for work and was speeding on the BW when pulled over. It was during construction and there was no shoulder to pull over to when my husband realized he was being pulled over and attempted to find a safe place to pull off when the Constable tried to PIT maneuver him so he stopped in the middle of the traffic lane on the big bridge. He was confronted with a drawn handgun and arrested for evading. They went less than a half mile from where the office was positioned and stopped in the roadway. This is a felony charge and my husband has a clear record, 1 traffic ticket when he was in his 20s. We hired Paul at the recommendation of my MIL who was working with him on a Family Law case separately. He was paid well over 20k dollars for both cases. THE WHOLE TIME HE HAS BEEN DEALING WITH US HE WAS UNDER ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW FOR FALSIFYING EVIDENCE WITH THE TEXAS STATE BAR. He did NOTHING to resolve the case pre court date and always gave us a run around about

This so called attorney will feed you nothing but bull. and takes advantage of elderly people and produces nothing accept taking people’s life savings. As for accountability, you can forget it. He never returns phone calls or text messages or keeps the family of an inmate updated on the status of the case. He does absolutely nothing he says he will do and is arrogant enough to say the inmate is right where he needs/deserves to be. Now THAT is what I call fighting for your client!!!!

Mr Lavalle purchased and delivered illicit drugs and liquor to his client on numerous occasions. Client on bond from 4th or 5th DWI. Is this an ethical violation? At the very least?? I think YES. I seek nothing but justice and some hope of REAL recovery for this client. Over a year since committing current offense and still no court date?. Multiple assault charges, since most recent arrest Hanging out in a LUXURY rehab.., out of state. What is WRONG withGALVESTON County ???

Paul was hired to represent me on a criminal matter. He failed to even submit a Grand Jury packet on my behalf. Instead he tried to fax a letter to the ADA's office and have that serve as my defense. The Grand Jury hearin was at 10am and he did not even fax the letter until 2:45pm after my hearing was over and I had been indicted. Please stay away from this lawyer he will take your money and just plea your case down. He will not defend you!

We signed a contract and were told there would be no additional fee for the custody case. Payment was made in full and now his firm is attempting to collect an additional $10,000.00.
