Stephen Blyth was a pleasure to work with very professional and respectful. I spent $3000 on a lawyer that withdrew from my case because he did not want to fight for me. He just wanted me to take a plea and I was not guilty of the charge. So he withdrew from my case, and never refunded my money. So I took a court-appointed attorney, which was Mr. Blythe, and he got my case dismissed. He never tried to take the easy way out and persuade me to take a plea as the other attorney had not only suggested, but demanded. He was appointed, even though he wasn’t getting paid the big lawyer fees he did the big lawyer job. I was very pleased with his attitude and his respect of my wishes, and I recommend him highly.
Mr. Tarver was supposed to be an independent mediator, but he repeatedly vied for my ex-wife during our meetings. He also made phone calls to her about topics in the decree and did not communicate the same to me. He took her word that what she told him was agreeable. He valued a new car she purchased for $27,000 as $12,000. He also makes clerical mistakes and has shotty paperwork. He repeatedly asks for the same information that he has already been given. What he claims to do as Mediation is actually an Agreed On Divorce. He charges $1000 more for the Agreed On Divorce by calling it Mediation than you can find through other lawyers. He didn't Mediate anything. He is extremely dishonest and I would not recommend him.
