About Einat Steiner

Einat advises international and local companies regarding environment, climate change and ESG matters. Einat works closely with corporate clients in all sectors on climate change related matters including climate policy and regulation, climate policy, carbon market strategies, and carbon credit transactions, including climate-related commercial transactions for the purchase of carbon rights, their development and generation to carbon credits.

Einat also advises companies whose main business is climate change, and in particular various aspects of developing of carbon credits and their commercialization. Einat has been involved on behalf of business sector clients, including in professional forums and private sector initiatives, in the drafting of position papers relating to several major laws and regulations in the matter of environment and climate change, and the development of a voluntary carbon market in Israel.

In addition, provides ongoing environmental regulatory and permitting advice to a multinational corporations and represents corporations in diverse industrial manufacturing sectors as well as sea ports, off-shore natural gas production facilities and other marine-related operations on complex regulatory and environmental matters (such as soil and water contamination, hazardous substance aspects, air pollution and emissions from vessels), before a broad range of government entities, including the Ministry of Environmental Protection. Einat has extensive experience representing both corporations and officers in environmentally related administrative, criminal, and civil proceedings. Einat has also been involved in M&A transactions in relation to environment matters.

Einat was also a member of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolutions Department and she has significant experience advising and acting both local and multinational clients with respect to civil litigation, including class actions.
