Have you consulted or hired this lawyer?
Leave a review about your experience with this lawyer. This is a 1/2 way through review. I hired Mr. Castro because he actually listened to all that I had to say and took everything in consideration. I reviewed or consulted with 3 other attornies prior to retaining him, and immediately knew I had the guy. I was disinterested and wsnt sure what direction I wanted to go and after a random website info drop after searching Mediation, He called me on a Sunday and spend 45 minutes with me on the phone with full attention to detail. We recapped at his office and I retained him with full confidence. I Just want whats fair and all I am asking for and He is aiming to get what I deserve in the situation at hand. Susan absolutely Rocks the house as well. I appreciate you working with and around my busy schedule (more so than I would have ever expected, so thank you for that.) If I need an attorny in the future... These good folks will be the first I call, hands down.
During the post dissolution proceeding, Mr. Castro did not once object to any of the irrelevant comments made by the opposing party. When I tried to speak up, the Magistrate directed me to let Mr. Castro speak for me, which Mr. Castro did not respond to at all. I finally hired a co-counsel, without Mr. Castro's knowledge, and had co-counsel present at the hearing. The co-counsel basically saved the day. All this cost a great deal of money, but I had no choice but to bring in a "kicker" for the hearing due to the importance of the proceeding.
Mr. Castro represented me during my divorce. Because of his sloppiness and unpreparedness, my divorce which was NOT contested still cost me upwards of $50K. Each session, he would ask me the same questions, making me repeat myself, almost like he wasn't listening or taking notes. These redundant sessions drove my cost up. He also failed to negotiate for my rights during the divorce proceeding and several times, I would have to initiate questions related to my situation and do the lawyer thinking for him. My ex spouse's attorney was much more competent and prepared than him. Do not use him unless you are prepared to watch your hard earned money disappear.
