Harold R. (Hal) Mardenborough, Jr. is a shareholder with Carr Allison working in the Tallahassee, Florida office. Mr. Mardenborough graduated from Clemson University in 1985 and obtained his J.D., with high honors, from Florida State University in 1989. At that time, he accepted a position with the firm McFarlain, Sternstein, Wiley and Cassedy, P.A., which became McFarlain & Cassedy, P.A., before merging with Carr Allison in 2006. Mr. Mardenborough was selected as one of Florida Trend's Legal Elite for 2010. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the International Association of Defense Counsel, Trial Attorneys of America, the Florida Defense Lawyers' Association (in which he chairs the Insurance Committee), the Defense Research Institute and USLAW Network. He is admitted to practice before the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal. Mr. Mardenborough has served as a lecturer on topics involving insurance coverage litigation, bad faith claims handling and civil trial practice. He continues his relationship with FSU College of Law by coaching Moot Court teams for national competitions.
