Peter J. Kesling is a dedicated personal injury attorney based in Tacoma, Washington, with deep roots in the Puget Sound region. Born at Madigan Medical Center and raised in Gig Harbor, Peter graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Puget Sound. He completed his legal education at Seattle University School of Law in 1999 and began practicing law in South Puget Sound shortly thereafter. Peter limits his practice to plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, representing clients in Washington State and Federal Courts. He brings a unique perspective to his work, having started his career defending insurance companies against injury claims. This experience provided him with valuable insight into the strategies of insurers, which he now uses to benefit his clients. Peter has successfully handled cases ranging from minor injuries to complex claims involving catastrophic harm and significant damages.
Outside of the courtroom, Peter lives on a ranch in Pierce County with his wife, Katherine. He enjoys fly-fishing, hunting, and coaching youth wrestling, a passion he has pursued for over a decade. He is also a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association.
