Hired Attorney

Attorney Mr. Giesler was negligent and misrepresented my DWI case. He showed up to court and allowed the Assistant District Attorney to offer a plea deal based on an accident that never happened due to his lack of preparedness. After the plea offer in the courtroom, Mr. Giesler explained the deal to us explaining that due to my accident, they were still charging me with a DWI and would have a suspended license for a year (basically the standard first DWI charge). When I reminded him that there was no accident in my case, he back tracked and said ‘well, this is a standard plea for you blowing a .16’. After we questioned that statement (having been previously told my level was under the ‘aggravated DWI’ rating, he admitted that he often has a habit of just agreeing with the ADA and repeating what was said by the ADA and he then thought that the ADA may have had my case confused with another case of his. He failed to return calls correcting this.
