Klein, Stoddard, Buck, Waller & Lewis, LLC is a law firm established in 1978 with an office in Sycamore, IL. At this office location, there are 6 lawyers practicing civil litigation, trial practice, appellate practice and 12 other areas of law.
Mr. Stoddard was very easy to talk to and helped me through the difficulty of handling my father's estate.
He talks so that I can understand him. He is down to earth, yet he is helpful and thorough.
My attorney had to be in a different court the day I was scheduled to be in court for my bankruptcy, they had another attorney there to handle everything. They took good care of me.

Amanda Wielgus represented me and I would not go to any other attorney for legal help. She always answers phone calls and emails within a couple of hours, is always prepared for hearings, and was able to settle my case satisfactorily. Klein Stoddard should give her a raise.
I found Jim to be unresponsive and condescending. He never took my concerns seriously, and was forgetful of important names and dates. When I chose to discontinue his service he charged me for services that were incurred before I hired him. I'm just glad to be done with him.
Absolutely worst experience ever. The guy needs to retire. He didn’t even review my case after taking it over from another attorney at their firm who went on maternity leave. He was forgetful, condescending and even yelled at me as a client. Very unprofessional. He’s not a good fit if you are involved in a custody battle. I fired him and got the most amazing lawyer who actually represented me and cared about my case!
Attorney Stoddard was absolutely horrible to work with. I should have known when we were talked down to in our initial meeting, that he was not going to work out. We were never communicated with and when we did get responses, we were accused of being the problem. Absolutely abhorrent treatment of us when we switched to another firm and the cause of several panic attacks for fear of not being able to close on our house. He and his assistants were wholly unprofessional. I do NOT recommend hiring Attorney Stoddard or anyone at their firm.
I would never recommend this law firm to anyone trying to get things done in a timely manner. Absolutely terrible communication and mishandling of our home purchase. It was so bad, we had to switch to another firm. Before we switched, we were told it was our fault for their poor communication. STAY AWAY. Go literally anywhere else! I wish I could give negative stars.
