I had Pat as my lawyer for years. She was more than wonderful to me and my family. She stuck with me through some tough times. She went above and beyond her duties as a public defender! Even though at the time i was a juvenile she defended me like i was paying her hundreds of dollars an hour. I was always in trouble, and one time she drove to my house at 11 pm on a Saturday night to give me cab fair money to make sure i got to where i needed to be the following Monday morning. She stuck her neck out there for me and even put her reputation on the line a few times knowing that i was a total mess. I remember the first time i met her, she did not want to take me in her car because the previous lawyer i had, i jumped out of his car on a red light. When i got pregnant at 13 and dss took my baby she and her friend, another lawyer Arlene Ordung (not the right spelling) she had me and Arlene had my baby's father and they made it so my child was not stuck in the system. They got the grandfather to take guardian ship of my daughter. Thanks to Pat i now have my daughter back about 5 years now. She always kept me informed and told me just like it was, she din't sugar coat anything. Pat is a wonderful woman and i can not say that enough! I had her for so long she was like family! I wish this lady would become a judge so she can make some final rulings. When i had my second child i remember she called me and i was not in dss custody anymore and she told me in case they take my child she wanted me to know she was leaving the country and to wait until she returned to fight anything. That never happened. I now have 4 children and have straightened my life out BIG TIME! I Pat made a huge impact on my life and I love her so much! She never gave up on me and i appreciate that! I could go on and on how this woman helped me. Pat you are so very special and you do make a difference! Thank you!
