I initially gave this group a great review, however I now amending that to reflect how things progressed since that point. I worked with Carlton legal group to complete a bankruptcy. I was garnished for thousands of dollars, and was initially assured I would get “basically all of it” back. That was nearly $3,000. I paid well over half of my fees. The money I was supposed to get back from garnishments was supposed to pay for the remainder of the fees and I was told that I would also get a bit over $1000 back, and the check arrives within 3 months of bankruptcy settlement. My bankruptcy was completed in October of last year. Around January I started sending emails to the paralegal. No responses. A month or so later I called, was told she would check into it and call me back. No response. Another month later I called again, was told “I’ll bring it up to him in a meeting this afternoon, but it’s only like $200”. Never heard another word. Your money is better spent on someone more honest.
