Lemme tell you: If he can get his son Jordan's charge of felony possession of a firearm on school grounds at Statesville Middle School, (while he was in law school,) to go away COMPLETELY and Jordan was still allowed to take the BAR Exam, he's the one for me!!!!! Absolutely brilliant use of his legal skills! A++++

Ken Darty, SUPERMAN, is the best attorney there is. I don’t care what anyone says. Yes it will take takes and a few continued court hearing but trust the process!! He is the best. Be honest with him and he will work super man magic for you. I love this guy, man he has helped me so much it’s unreal. Thank you so much! I hate seeing all the negative things people says about him. Ken is a very organized individual. He knows his law. He seems to work well fighting for his female clients. I found him to be professional and very sharply dressed.

Mr. Darty's office seemed, at the least, to have organizational and administrative problems. Being called into his office by his staff . . . for an urgent meeting . . . only to arrive and sit in the waiting room for 1:40 (nearly 2 hours) and then be told to go home (without seeing Mr. Darty's face, or being told anything of substance by his staff). Arriving for the rescheduled meeting a few weeks later? Scheduled to meet at 4:00 PM, waiting until 6:40 PM to see Mr. Darty. This seemed to be the rule, not the exception. Now. Perhaps, Mr. Darty's staff is letting him down. (Albeit, this is not an excuse.) The day of my trial, Mr. Darty told me I was sunk and would be going to prison if I went to trial (nearly polar opposite of what I had been told by Mr. Darty for nearly two years). Could we not have had that "I'm sunk" conversation the year before, when (with Mr. Darty's counsel) I declined a plea deal? Or the week before trial, for that matter? Sorely disappointed.

Hired him to defend our son for murder. He said he filed 17 motions, he did not. He said 3 times he would request a DNA EXPERT since our son's entire case was based on a 63% DNA match; He did NOT. At trial he used the State DNA Expert. His big ego stated he could "beat" the DA and tear the co-witness apart. He did nothing. Our son's girlfriend of 10 years, his alibi, was on the stand and Darty did NOT ask her for alibi!! We were never told the time/actual date of murder (body found 7 days later with maggots). He said he would NOT allow pictures of maggots to be shown, but he DID, on big screen TV! He lied when we took him to Appeal case on his incompetence; my son had to give up his "client/attorney" privilege so this lawyer could defend himself. The lack of motions prevented us from having full transcripts of opening/closing statements on which to appeal. DA and judge were former law partners; Darty did nothing. Life in prison w/o parole!!! August 2009. Racist.
