I have been engaged in the general practice of law in Statesville, North Carolina since 1976 and have practiced law in the same firm since that time. I have provided consistent, competent and comprehensive services during my entire legal career. While employed as a full-time partner in this law firm, I chose to further my education and commuted to Emory University on a weekly basis for 24 months to obtain my Master's Degree in Taxation. I have always has an interest in the business aspects of law practice, including estate planning and administration, business and corporate planning, tax planning and real estate. I have combined that through the years with my interest in collections work for local clients as well as personal injury and workers' compensation matters. What I most enjoy about my practice at this point is the personal interaction with clients and the ability to "grow" with those clients. I anticipate practicing law well into the future and look forward to continued opportunities in these areas.
