My wife and I have worked with Chas on three different matters. He has assisted us in the purchase of our home, a refinance of our mortgage, and preparation of our wills. Throughout all three matters, Chas demonstrated in every interaction that he was extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and detail oriented. He explained things well, provided helpful guidance when there were decisions to be made, and patiently answered any questions that I had. When we purchased our home, he caught a significant error made by the sellers' attorney, avoiding what could have been a costly and time-consuming issue. We will continue to use Chas for any legal matters in the areas of his practice. Based on our experience working with him, we would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for an attorney for real estate transactions and/or preparation of wills.

Attorney Charles Abate is the best representation of professionalism, honesty and excellence in a lawyer since he did an excellent job in our real estate transaction as follows: • He protects client’s interest in each part of our real estate transaction, specifically to us as sellers through deep knowledge of Fed, State (CT)/local regs. • Very good ability to negotiate and obtain the best conditions for his clients. • He performed contract drafting and review, putting it together in a clear and simple fashion, avoiding potential future disputes and legal risks. • He verified and investigated the history of our property confirming there were no impediments or legal restrictions. • Transactions were done in a safe and thorough (following regs and laws) manner. In summary, he was the best recommendation we got from our real estate agent since he has ample similar experience in these transactions, is detail oriented and has a very good reputation. We amply recommend him.

Charles Abate is a very honest and detailed professional person. He is never tired! Charles was the only person who worked very hard and seriously during the process.
