Was looking for a lawyer to help me set up my small business - corporate structure, website disclosures and client contracts. Initial responsiveness was very prompt, but slowed considerably after the retainer check was cashed. In our initial call, I was lead to believe that we would be able to set these things up within 6 weeks with of cost of something around what the retainer was. I planned my business around this! But everything slowed to the speed of mud after our initial call. Ongoing follow-up emails were ignored, I would set up calls with Ms. Fletcher that she would miss, and at one point, there was a 4-week span of time with no progress despite my repeated follow-ups After 3 months, I pulled the plug. To add insult to injury, the bill I received after that (the first I had ever received), was a multiple of what I expected, had double-billing for items, and had the billing rate inflated vs what we had agreed to in our contract - which took another 2 mos to adjust.
