Our medical practice has used Mr. Westhoff for several years as we've continued to expand, build more clinics and add physicians. He has been an articulate advocate when we've run into barriers and quick to respond with our employment contracts and building contracts. Ben's expertise in labor law has been extremely valuable to our corporation since we have over 95+ employees. We appreciate Ben's knowledge and work ethic. Without a doubt I highly recommend him!
I recently used Ben as counsel in an employment contracting case and would highly recommend him. As an individual employee, it's difficult to navigate the law and court system. Ben was supportive and competent through each step of litigation, listened to my needs and concerns, and guided me through the settlement process. Sedey, Harper, Westhoff is a great firm and Ben is a great lawyer!
Ben was very thorough and clear with the process and expectations of my case. He listened to my concerns and was able to build the case around a discrimination issue. He communicated regularly throughout the negotiations with my prior employer and was able to resolve the situation in my favor. Thanks Ben!!
Overall, I felt I would have came out about the same or even if I had not used him. He negotiated enough so he could basically have the fees paid. The original agreement was for 8 weeks. He negotiated for 10 weeks which in essence provide him with 2 weeks of my severance pay. Also, when I attempted to contact him in the future regarding the former employer engaging in activities of breaching the agreement. I was ignored. I do not know maybe it was because I was a black lesbian at the time.
Decent communicator but never felt like he was my counsel. Young attorney.
