McGuire promised to look into a matter for us. He didn’t follow through on anything and never even got back to us, yet we received a sizable bill. I’ve heard similar complaints for others. He gave us the “good old boy” routine but did nothing to earn his fee. I will never go back to him and cannot recommend.
Rusty McGuire iin my opinion is an example of why laymen have contempt for attorneys. He is wrong about the law, he tries to ramrod things through, he is sneaky and doesn't present true information, he pits family members against each other destroying a historical farm in the process. He writes snarky emails, manipulates and bullies. Did I mention he is wrong about the law? All this is documented. He has inflamed the situation destroying sibling relationships. We have spent tens of thousands educating him on the law. When all is over we may file a bar complaint against him.
Rusty McGuire was hired to handle a estate. In the end he played 2 sides of the same fence. He helped get a clear deed then helped the other side try and steal the land from his brother. He also pushed through a document signed under duress Wich is highly unethical and a illegal document. He even used his office staff to knowingly notarize the document he knew was only signed under duress and therefore a illegal contract. He is determined only in screwing people over who trusted him, and as a lawyer is completely worthless and his entire firm is garbage.
