I was on probation in a felony case and had not completed all the terms of my probation. The court had issued a warrant for my arrest. Since I no longer lived in the state where the court was located, I had no way of returning for court. Attorney David Altman appeared for me and was able to get the court to recall the warrant and modify the terms of my probation so that I will be able to do all of the things required and have my case dismissed. I had never even had a speeding ticket and live in Southern California when I got in trouble driving through Utah. I was arrested on charges of possession and was represented by a public defender at trial due to having a low income and being self employed. With the public defender, I was found guilty on the possession charge and served jail time along with 6 months private probation. However, when I falsely failed an initial intake drug test, the prosecutor later filed a motion to revoke the probation at the end of the 6 months and sentence me to jail time anyways. {para}I was served an order to show cause and I looked everywhere online to find someone who would work with my low income as I have a child and wife I fully support on my fixed income. I heard good things about Mr Altman through reviews and after an initial consultation, he said he would work with my budget and so I hired Attorney David Altman to represent me. {para}Not only did he work with me on the attorney fees but he also made all of the court appearances for me so I never had to travel back to Utah from California for court (which was a big worry with a kid). He also was able to get my violation of probation completely dismissed which was the best possible outcome. Mr. Altman was very professional but never too busy to talk to me or answer my questions and concerns.
